A fake banner ad. It says 'Have you ever clicked your mouse right HERE?' An arrow points from the word 'here' to the words 'YOU WONT.' The background of the image has the words 'It's not a real ad.' tiled throughout. A fake banner ad. The far corner of it has an image of two CD-ROMS, which transform into a globe, which then blows up. It says, 'What's better than the Leechfarm CD-ROM 2-disc set? How about a loving God? Around 150,000 people die a day on planet Earth, and for what? Who hears our screams?' A fake banner ad. It says, 'Other voices. You hear them too?' and in the corner of the ad, the acronym 'FML' is shown.

Welcome to LEECHFARM.

This site is best veiwed on desktop!

This website.

Leechfarm is the personal website of myself, Lazarus. Its construction and maintenance has been an idle project of mine for a while, and it is meant to act as a public, curated archive of my activity and intrests.

I was born too late to really apopreciate and experience the golden age of personal websites, but Internet Archive exploration is a favorite hobby of mine, and I wanted a useless webpage of my own.

Perhaps one day, forgotten and rotting online, this page will be all that is left of me?

This page.

Use the navigation links above to browse the main pages of my site, and the additional links to the bottom right to access external content. The Update and Issues boxes in the sidebar to the right will show a summary of the latest work done on the site, and the date that work was done can be seen in the marquee at the top of the page.

The audio currently looping was made by me, and can be muted by clicking the audio icon that appears when you hover over the tab. The fake banner ads were also made by me, based on existing ads documented in the Web Design Museum. Clicking the ones on the home page (this page) won't do anything, but that doesn't mean all banner ads you see are totally useless. Hint hint.

Below this paragraph, the "update archive" can be accessed; think of it like... a casual devlog?

[7/30/2024] Worked idly on my site. No major updates, but it's been a while so it's worth mentioning.

[7/8/2024] I finished the majority of content of this homepage, though I am still unsatisfied.

Updates: ◦ Created the necessary images and audio. ◦ Created and finished static pages like construction and not_found. ◦ Just begun work on the about page.

Issues: ◦ Something is very wrong with text colors. ◦ I run into frequent image rendering issues. ◦ All of these issues are currently inexplicable!

[6/7/2024] I found the code for this dropdown on StackOverflow :]
